networks doesn't work after suspend to ram (forcedeth) [jaunty]

Hello,

I have an Asus M3N78 Pro motherboard with an onboard network card which uses the forcedeth driver. After suspend to ram no network is available.
I have read some other reports and tried already to add SUSPEND_MODULES="forcedeth". No luck with that.
I'm adding more information about my machine. Maybe someone else can spot the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information.

The next time this occurs please run the following command in a console terminal window
   apport-collect -p network-manager 372131

this will collect some debug information that is useful to the developers to assist
them in fixing this bug.

Hi,
the command does not work, if there is no network connection. See my attached result.txt.
So I tried after reboot, but even after allowing "Change Anything", the process goes to
"Almost finished ..." page and nothing happens for at least 5 minutes.
How should this work?

DId a browser screen popup and ask for your launchpad login to authenticate you?

That should have happened.

The message said that edge.launchpad.net was not found, perhaps there was a glitch
at the time you tried.

Try again and lets see what happens, things should work out of the box an in
a very short time frame, like <2 minutes

Hi,

Now I'm back at home.
So I did again start the command "apport-collect -p network-manager 372131". Then I see this page in firefox: "Authorize application to access Launchpad on your behalf" and I select "Change anything". Afterwards an "Almost finished" page is displayed. Nothing happens afterwards.

Should it matter, that I use Kubuntu?
