Cannot select multiple attachment uploads in gmail when file selection dialogue appears

I can upload individual files just fine, and I also have the "Advanced Attachments Feature" enabled in the gmail settings. The only problem I'm having is selecting multiple files at a time with the file selection dialogue that appears. Pressing shift or control while selecting them doesn't do anything and only selects the file I clicked on.

Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64
Gnome nautilus 2.26.2

try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. that way you have a fresh install of it. if you have any personal items in ff like bookmarks, etc i would suggest you back those up.

tried it but didnt work. I'm having the same problem on another computer
that has ubuntu 8.04.

hmmm. this is really weird because I tried this earlier before I left my house this morning in Firefox in Jaunty. If you have wine installed try to do it in Internet Explorer. I am curious to see if it will work through that.

Hi, i think this is a safari only feature in gmail....
it's about multiple attachement IN ONE TIME ....

Firefox does not support this...

should be set as wishlist, am i right?

it's a feature with flash.... but not currently supported on linux

If you install Firefox 3.5 and Flash 10 with wine you can use the multiple file upload with Ubuntu

I've just noticed, that I can use the multiple select feature of googlemail with wine and firefox, but only if I click on "new mail". If I click on "Answer" I can't use this feature.
