rrdtool 1.3.1-4ubuntu1 bug in Jaunty

Jaunty SRU information follows:

Impact: rrdcgi generates broken IMG URLs, e.g., <IMG SRC=/sensord//var/www/sensord/daily-rpm.png WIDTH=897 HEIGHT=274>, so graphs are not displayed.

Fix/Resolution: Backport http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool-trac/changeset/1459, which converts absolute paths to relative paths.

TEST CASE: (Any tool using rrdcgi can be used as a test case.) Install sensord and note the broken links in the generated pages.

I am reporting this issue following a request from <email address hidden> to whom I posted first : they consider that opening a bug in Launchpad may be important for recordkeeping : here is the issue :

I just upgraded to Jaunty on x86_64. I had setup sensord on Intrepid which generated a pretty cgi page. This page is broken in Jaunty : it appears that they generate the cgi using rrdcgi (current rrdtool version :1.3.1-4ubuntu1) , which generates broken IMG URLs such as :

<IMG SRC=/sensord//var/www/sensord/daily-rpm.png WIDTH=897 HEIGHT=274>

this is a rrdtool bug currently registered and recently fixed :

Thus, can you consider pushing a rrdtool upgrade ? (maybe Debian first ?)

A package is building in my PPA right now. It's 4ubuntu2~maco1. When it's done building, can you test it? I'm attaching a matching debdiff for Jaunty (with a not-PPA version number) pending your confirmation that the package works.
