Bug Description
Nodes make it difficult to clearly see the shape of the path. It might be useful sometimes to be able to hide the nodes while adjusting them.
Two suggestions:
First, an option to hide the nodes with a keystroke until unhidden with the same keystroke.
Second, the option to hide them while holding a key, and they become unhidden when the key is released. In either case, the node tool would be usable while the nodes are hidden, so the path could be adjusted without the nodes obstructing the ability to clearly see the path.
