Bug Description

Ubuntu: 9.04
Video: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter
CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.13GHz
RAM: 1GB
glxinfo | grep render: direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer
glxgears:
186 frames in 5.5 seconds = 33.779 FPS
429 frames in 5.0 seconds = 85.708 FPS
581 frames in 5.0 seconds = 116.083 FPS
542 frames in 5.0 seconds = 108.383 FPS
419 frames in 5.1 seconds = 82.013 FPS
496 frames in 5.0 seconds = 99.038 FPS

After update to Ubuntu 9.04, games (like Urban Terror, Chromium, OpenArena and CS 1.6 under Wine 1.1.20 compiled) are running too slow. About Wine, I've tried the Ubuntu package (Wine 1.0.1) and the Wine 1.1.19/1.1.20 compiled. Before the update, CS was running ok.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
