Incorrect printing in duplex mode

In Konika Minolta Bizhub C252 when you print a two side page and various copies of document, if last page is nonpareil at end of document the new first page is printed in reverse of last page.

Ubuntu 9.04 and Open office 3.0

In ubuntu 8.04 the printer is correct but not is correct in ubuntu 8.10 and ubuntu 9.04

Confirmed on 8.10/9.04 with various Sharp and HP Printers.

I believe this is a result of Bug #369711 where instead of Cups sending the document once and telling the printer to make multiple copies, the multiples are put together into one large print job.

So if you send an odd number of pages (say 9 pages, for example) you will end up with page #1 on the back of page #9.

This is only one effect of the problem - another effect is very slow printing of multiple copies. (I just sent 85 copies of a single-page 500k PDF file and it took slightly over 2 hours to reach the printer.)

Yes, and this bug is identical in KONIKA-MINOLTA BizHUP printes
In Ubuntu 8.04 this bug does not exist.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 368539

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
