Bug Description

I recently downloaded Ubuntu 9 and it seems as though when the computer goes into sleep mode or screen saver mode, the mouse and the keyboard is frozen upon awake. This of course prevents me from inputting my password. The only way to get around this issue is shut off the computer via power button.

This was my first bug report....Hope it was helpful (^_^)v...duces!!

Try rebooting it 2-3 times after the problem occured.
It used to happen to me on Ubuntu 8.However 9 doesn't show this to me anymore.
Downloading updates---let me know if something develops.
Mean while see if the wires are secure.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu development version (10.10). If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #>, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Hey Kurt,

My apologies; however, the laptop that I was using at the time when I worte
this bug report is no Longer working. I have since then purchased a new
laptop and downgraded to the pervious version of Ubuntu that has always
worked well for me. Because it has been a while since I've logged onto the
site I'm not sure if other were having the same issue.

Again, my apologies.

Thank you.
