Bug Description
Binary package hint: ttf-droid
I hereby request a FeatureFreezeEx
- Update ttf-droid to 1.00~b112-
- One file (DroidSansJapan
- The package installs, builds and upgrades.
- Dependency didn't change (Depends: defoma)
- The package is not installed by default (and not on the Jaunty CD)
This change will improve our handling of Asian writing because Droid is one of the few fonts with first class support of Western _and_ Asian scripts.

ACK #1
There is no risk of regression, it has no rdepends, package works fine... Having said that I would like to see this in Jaunty.
1130.01 <soc> this would be very nice for our asian users, because this is the only font with 'sans-serif' glyphs and first-class coverage of both western and asian scripts brainstorm. ubuntu. com/idea/ 4924 last comment
