Kubuntu 9.04 RC crashes when logging out of desktop

laptop freezes after I try to logout. My KDE session ends, but I never get the KDM login screen and the system freezes. First time I tried logout I had to force shutdown computer by powerswitch, but second time I tried it seemed that ctrl+alt+del managed to reset computer?

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click on "Leave".
2. Click on "Logout".
