Bug Description

Binary package hint: xfce4-cpugraph-plugin

personally i really liked the 0.3 version of this plugin, basically for two things:

1. it uses the complete panel height
2. (and more important): it didn't have the disturbing bars.

now, i can see how someone might find them attractive, but i don't and i certainly don't find them very useful (as cpu-usage changes too rapidly in every-day use to be able to see anything from the bars). an option to deactivate them would be a nice feature.

i really like the associate customizable command - great feature!

a last thing on my personal wishlist for this plugin (which is actually one of my favourite xfce4-panel plugins) is picking up the panel background in case it is an image. this way the cpu-graph would appear to be seemlessly integrated in the panel. at least i would find that a very attractive change.

This new 'feature' also means the plugin is pretty rubbish when plugged into a vertical panel, i.e. one down the side. The bouncing bar graph takes up all the room (in fact more) and the actually useful trend graph can't be seen at all.

This is now fixed upstream, and available in the recently released 1.0.0 version. I recommend upgrading from 0.4.0 to 1.0.0
