xmms no longer starts in breezy (when xmms-flac installed)

Bug Description

$ xmms
libmikmod.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Message: device: default
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (out): 0xb6dff738 ***
Aborted

I then removed any old presets : rm -rf ~/.xmms
I installed libmikmod:
Setting up libmikmod2 (3.1.11-a-6ubuntu2) ...

 $ xmms

Here too.

But check if you have xmms-flac plugon installed.
If you reinstall it xmms works again.

Can you try.

And please change the the subject to xmms does not start if xmms.flac installed.

removing then reinstalling the xmms-flac plugin does not correct the problem.
