Bug Description

Greetings:

The beta install for 9.04 fails for me at the start of the backend setup procedure. I am running through the setup process as follows:

Boot from 9.04 beta disk
Choose English as my language
Choose Install Mythbuntu

Once the installation program starts, I make the following choices:
Choose English as the language (step 1 of 12)
Choose America/Indiana/Indianapolis as my timezone (step 2 of 12)
Choose (Suggested Option): USA as the Keyboard layout (step 3 of 12)
Choose Use entire disk (with the only disk in the system) (step 4 of 12)
Specify my user settings (including log in automatically) (step 5 of 12)
Choose Primary Backend w/ Frontend for Installation type (step 6 of 12)
No changes for additional services (ssh & samba only selected) (step 7 of 12)
Enable Remote (logitech/ast) (step 8 of 12)
Modify video driver (Nvidia) and enable tv-out (Component video out HD1080i) (step 9 of 12)
Start install (step 11 of 12)

The installation process runs for about 20 minutes and completes successfully.

The Configure Guide Data/Backend screen (step 12 of 12) appears next. I press the Launch MythTV Setup button to continue with the backend setup. A window with the title mythtv-setup.real appears, and then a black screen appears over that with the border of a window but the window has no contents. I can alt-tab to return the mythtv-setup.real window to the top so that I can see it. A lot of text goes by, and after 15 seconds or so the following text appears in the logs. It appears that it continues to get printed to the log over and over.

X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) 8
  Major opcode: 62
  Minor opcode: 0
  Resource id: 0xc00008
X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) 8

  Minor opcode: 0

I'm not familiar enough with the Mythbuntu setup to know how to scp the log file (if any) off of the machine, but if you provide some direction I would be happy to try it and attach it to the case.

The 8.10 installation works properly on this machine and I don't have this issue.

The video card is an NVidia 9600 based card.

This has been fixed on the disks after the beta for NV cards. Please grab a
