Have to press Space three times to see Gnome Do pupup

I am on the newest Jaunty Ubuntu.

Since yesterday I have to press Space three times (with Super) to see Gnome Do popup.

Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
Codename: jaunty

This happens only if Firefox 3.0.8 is running!

This bug affects me too, gnome-do interface is not gaining focus over other windows until you summon it 3 times

I find that in order to fix this, you have to go into Compiz configuration and change "Focus & Raise Behavior"'s "Focus Prevention Level" to off. This doesn't completely fix it in all situations, but seems to make a noticeable difference for me.

That screenshot is a little out of date. I misread the text area under it -- a default one should read "any", if I'm reading it right, that will trigger the window raise prevention specifically on gnome-do windows :o. My bad.

No problem. I love Gnome-Do (being an avid mac/quicksilver user myself) too, so I began mucking about to see what the issue was.

I have a better workaround... And start to doubt that is a Gnome-Do problem...

Don't set "Focus Prevention Level" to Off, please use Low as before, and below in the Focus Prevention Match use:

(any) & !(title=Do)

So, in this way you will have the functionally, without the Gnome-Do problems

I found that this bug was fixed with the most recent update to compiz without any of the workarounds.

I am running Kubuntu 9.04.
I am also affected by this bug.

Is the solution also with Compiz? I was not aware it was running with KDE.
