extra long boot time (more than 3')

Bug Description

With a fresh install of Jaunty, more than 3 minutes to boot.
Same with a live-cd session.

I join the needed logs.

That probably has something to do with the Oops you received during boot up.

Indeed, the oops is not a good sign. Does this remain with the final 2.6.28-11.42 kernel? Please attach an updated dmesg output if so. Thanks.

Same long time to boot with kernel 2.6.28-12-generic
but no more "Oops" ....See under this and the attach dmesg result.
