Bug Description

Binary package hint: metacity

Jaunty's Beta session manager does not properly restore the Terminal. I've opened several Terminals, maximised them and placed in different workspaces. Selected the option to automatically save sessions and logged out. After the login, only one Terminal was launched in normal size (not maximised). A very annoying bug as I have to open about a dozen of Terminals in various desktops every time I login. Surely I am not the only one that has to do it with every login!

My system is Jaunty Beta amd64

Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

apt-cache policy metacity
metacity:
  Installed: 1:2.25.144-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:2.25.144-0ubuntu2

updated all packages today

I suspect that this is actually a duplicate of 333603, an indication that
gnome-terminal in jaunty-beta is backlevel, or a new bug.

There is upstream gnome bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=575308
which indicates that it should be resolved as of gnome-terminal rev 3387.

See comments 18 and 19 on 575308.
