I consistently received this bug notifications every time I booted up, but after today's kernel upgrade the warning has disappeared. Thanks to whoever fixed it :-)

Happened again. It is just less consistent. I added the new debug information to the duplicate of this bug.

After some observations, I think I can say this bug happens after resuming from suspend. A typical symptom is the impossibility of actually act as administrator.

MM. Forgot to follow up this bug after a while. Taylor, I discovered that the message indicated that the swap was corrupted (probably due to some kind of error or maybe disk damage, I can't tell that from here ;-) ). You should format your swap, and correct the right configuration files in etc (fstab and another one) so that they point to the newly formatted swap (report the uuid, visible for example askign for more information about the swap in Gparted).

Good luck!

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest Karmic 9.10 release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If the issue remains, could you run the following command from a
Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) while running Karmic. It
will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this
report.

apport-collect -p linux <bug number>

Thanks in advance

@Taylor: Can you confirm that your hardware is the same as original reporter?
