Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
While helping mvo diagnose bug 348531, it was noticed that the crash report that approt attached did not include the Date: field from the crash file (or launchpad stripped it out). The crash file itself includes the timestamp:
Date: Wed Mar 25 11:57:05 2009
But it doesn't appear anywhere in the bug report. It's useful to have this information to correlate when the crash occurred with information reported i attached log files.

This was actually on purpose, in version 0.111 in intrepid:
* apport/ crashdb_ impl/launchpad. py: Do not write the "Date:" field on
upload(), and fetch it from the bug metadata in download().
This version removed a lot of redundant information from reports, to make them easier to read and focus triagers on the important bits. Since a bug already records its reported date, this seemed superfluous.
Do you think this should be added back for some reason?
