Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
-nouveau fails to build on amd64 due to missing libdrm dependency on libdrm-nouveau1.
Rationale: We are still treating -nv as the default open source driver for nVidia hardware, but in the future hope to see -nouveau become our default driver. Thus the wider testing we can enable people to start doing on this driver, the better situation we'll be in when we decide to transition.
Regression Risk: Extremely minimal. This has no impact except on -nouveau users. We didn't support -nouveau in Intrepid, so no chance of regression from the prior release. For -nouveau users on Jaunty, the regression risk is extremely minimal, since without this package you can't get 3D. Without that, -nouveau isn't really much more useful than -nv. -nouveau is still considered an experimental non-default driver, so while we want to ship a functioning version for people to play with, the cost of a regression is pretty low.
