Bug Description
On Sunday March 5th, a regular Dapper update removed ubuntu-desktop; since then I have been unable to reinstall due to an unmet dependency in openoffice.
Two logs follow: Current output from apt-get install ubuntu-desktop and the Synaptic commit log from Sunday March 5th. More text follows beneath the March 5th commit log.
One: Conflict error

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against

======
The i10n packages were then upgraded on March 11th.
In an attempt to fix this, I also removed openoffice.
I'm tempted to remove the i10n packages and reinstall ubuntu-desktop, but I'd like to know that I would be doing the right thing....

This conflict prevents the installation of ubuntu-desktop; removing the conflicting i10n packages is at best a short-term workaround.
