Bug Description

Hi all.
I've just upgraded boost to 1.37 version and Qbittorent fails at starting with this error:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<boost::system::system_error> >'
  what(): eventfd_select_interrupter: Fonction non implantée
Abandon

I'm using boost 1.37 on Debian Sid, pre-made version.

Thanks.

Looks like a boost bug to me: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/2683.

A report should probably be filled against Debian boost package so that they include the patch from boost trac. (while waiting for boost v1.34.1)

Thanks for the heads up, but there might be some issues.

boost1.37 (1.37.0-4) added new packages libboost-mpi1.37.0 and
libboost-mpi1.37-dev as well as a build dependency on mpi-default-dev.
The problem is that mpi-default-dev is not in Ubuntu and it is
probably too late in the cycle to get an ACK on importing a brand new
package.

I'll see if I can simply backport the
fix_eventfd_select_interrupter.patch to the Ubuntu package.

Thanks,

Andrew
