Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

Update to compiz 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu2 broken.
Synaptic says:
compiz:
 Depends: compiz-gnome but it is not going to be installed
 Depends: libcompizconfig0 but it is not going to be installed

It seems like a dependency problem between compiz and libcompizconfig0 (latest in repository is 0.7.8-0ubuntu4).
I can install either of them but not both at the same time.

Currently compiz can not be used.

UPDATE: happening on Jaunty alpha 5 with kernel 2.6.28-8-generic.

Marking as invalid. The problem was that I was not using the main server for the update, but a mirror. Once switching to the main server, the upgrade works fine.

Sorry, was my mistake.

Changed in compiz:
status: New → Invalid
