I even can't uninstall or downgrade. Every time the script-error occurres.

Yes.

Also impossible to upgrade or uninstall sivp 0.4.3-4, and it seems that
this is creating big troubles to sophisticated visual effects (can't
success to switch from "None" to "Normal" or "Extra", if we try try it
switch back violently to "None" with an error popup window, it seems
that it cause trouble to flash player plugin, and more generally, to
video playing (gstreamer is crashing, etc).
Looking for a solution, can't find a way to upgrade sivp, to uninstall
sivp or to uninstall the whole Scilab application (sivp is a part of
Scilab).

Here's what I have exactly reported (this is in French):

Paramétrage de sivp (0.4.3.-4) ...
dpkg : erreur de traitement de sivp (--configure) :
 le sous-processus post-installation script a retourné une erreur de
sortie d'état 1
Des erreurs ont été rencontrés pendant l'exécution :
 sivp
E : Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
Un paquet n'a pas pu être installé. Tentative de récupération :

then, a popup windows appear :
Une erreur s'est produite
Les détails suivants sont fournis :
E: sivp: le sous-processus post-installation script a retourné une
erreur de sortie d'état 1

Could somebody make a full new install-script for the packet?

It causes a lot of troubles during the update-process.

Yes but the problem is that it refuse to update sivp 0.4.3-4 to sivp -
0.5.0-1
Is there a way to force this update or... ?
