In the message:
If you experience problems when using visual effects, it is advisable to disable them by opening <menuchoice>
Instead of No effects, it should be 'None'. As it has been changed.

Thanks, but which version of Ubuntu are you using, and can you tell me how you navigated to this help page. I've tested this on Jaunty by opening Help and Support, then navigating to Customising Your Desktop -> 3. Visual Effects -> 2. Configuring visual effects, and the page describes the 3 radio buttons correctly as "None", "Normal" and "Extra". Are you describing another section of the help documentation?
