Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-rpm
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
python-rpm:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 4.4.2.3-2
Version table:
4.4.2.3-2 0
500 http://
When attempting to install python-rpm from the repos I get the following error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
python-rpm: Depends: python (< 2.6) but 2.6.1-0ubuntu3 is to be installed
Re-building the .deb from the source package produces a working binary package that installs with no errors.

I can confirm that python-rpm needs a rebuild against Python 2.6.
