logout freezes after plasmoid-network-manager is setup to connect to wireless network

Once I boot into fresh KDE on kubuntu 9.04 and logout it works well. It takes me back to kdm. But when I configure new plasmoid-network-manager to talk to a wireless network. It invokes kwallet etc. and then if I try to logout then it does not work. After pressing logout once. It keeps working untill I open another application of try logout second time.

After that it just hangs. I have to use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to open a tty and manually reboot from shell. Restarting kdm also does not work.

I have a T61 laptop with Nvidia Video card.

Is this still an issue for you in the final version of Kubuntu 9.04, or alternatively with KDE 4.3? (http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.3)
