Bug Description

The current python-flup in Hardy, Intrepid and Jaunty is 1.0

Upstream have released 1.0.1, which improves how SCRIPT_NAME and PATH_INFO are extracted from the environment. This fixes problems I've been having with flup.

I've uploaded a package to my PPA, https://launchpad.net/~russell/+archive/ppa

This is a trivial version bump -- the old patches still apply, but should be regenerated because the SOURCES.txt has had a minor change which means that the 1.0-1 patch requires some fuzz to apply.

Hi,

As recorded in Launchpad I have filed bug 517965 with Debian

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=517965

Given that it's just a version bump, there is no work to send.

Russell

I send a reminder on the debian bug with the watch file I added in the debdiff.

Please sync flup (1.0.2-1) from Debian unstable. There is no local modifications on Ubuntu (previous version is 1.0-1)
It builds fine with a karmic pbuilder. (see also build log : https://edge.launchpad.net/~gilir/+archive/backports/+build/1166934/+files/python-flup_1.0.2-1~ppa1_all.deb)

Last Debian changelog entry :

 flup (1.0.2-1) unstable; urgency=low

   * New upstream release (Closes: #517965)
   * http://www.saddi.com/software/news/archives/65-flup-1.0.2-on-the-horizon....html
   * Debian packaging updated to use debhelper7
   * Updated debian/copyright to be machine-interpretable
   * Disabled upstream's use of ez_setup since Build-Depends already requires
     python-setuptools
