This bug was fixed in the package quodlibet - 2.0-1ubuntu2

quodlibet (2.0-1ubuntu2) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Rebuild against python 2.6. LP: #337077, #335804.
  * debian/patches/60-popen2-deprecated.patch: use subprocess.Popen
    instead of os.popen2 to get information from pkg-config.
  * debian/rules, debian/quodlibet-ext.install: handle move from
    site-packages to dist-packages.
