Probably a low interest package.

And hard to package because it does not have a standard build system like automake or scons.

"The second one is to tell which C compiler will be used. For now only `b' (Borland), `g' (MinGW), `m' (Microsoft) and `m6' (for those forced to use Microsoft VC++ 6.0) are officially supported."
And it does not even support the gcc ?!

Look in this directory:

https://svn.eiffel.com/eiffelstudio/trunk/Src/C/

Seems it uses a make system. At least there is configure and make file.

There is an article in Wikipedia on the program language Eiffel

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiffel_%28programming_language%29

And on this particlular program:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EiffelStudio

It is rara when a program has article in Wikipedia, for example, KBasic has none.

Ah I see you published it only in the beta repo and only for Jaunty. That's why it was not working:
I had old repo for Jaunty and a new repo for Karmic.

I've just run it and it successfully creates non-graphical application, though cannot create a graphical project,
says the following file is missing:

/usr/lib/eiffelstudio/precomp/spec/linux-x86/EIFGENs/vision2/COMP
