gnome-panel not redimensioned when changing resolution

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

if I use xrandr to set my 24' screen as main screen on my laptop, the gnome-panel is not redimensioned and I need to kill it or it will cover only half of the screen

    - Fix some randr-interaction by connecting to the monitors-changed
      signal. This shouldn't be needed with the latest GTK+, but we keep to
