Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
The behavior of Update Manager specifically is controlled by settings in the "Updates" tab of "Software Sources". However, there is no way to get from one to the other -- to, for example, set the option to install security updates without confirmation.
This can be fixed by adding a "Settings…" button to the bottom left corner of the Update Manager window, that opens "Software Sources" to its "Updates" tab.
(Please use a real U+2026 HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS in "Settings…".)
This is part of the changes desired for Ubuntu's new notification system <https:/
