webcam does not work with flash

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

my webcam on my eee pc 900 works with applications like cheese but not in flash 10 on any website.
same on both 9.04 and in 8.10

I've got the same problem, tested with http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_quick_capture?

It says "No camera was found"

and in the preference menu, my webcam is selected and my webcam works in cheese.

tested on jaunty alpha5 up-to-date as of today.

need any other info?

I can confirm the same issue with Jaunty. I believe it is due to the fact that flash for linux is only compatible with V4L devices and not V4L2.
