Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Every time FireFox is launched, it pops up in full screen mode instead of normal, window mode. I use Ubuntu 8.10, and I cannot see the upper Applications bar neither the lower widow list bar. I can only fix this by clicking twice F11, then minimizing FireFox and maximizing it again. After that, it runs perfectly well again. Its not life or death, but it is really annoying. Than you.

it also happens to me, from a few day. We can say it's not a real fullscreen mode, it seems not consider the title bar of firefox, my top gnome panel, e my botton avant window navigator dock.
If i manually set fullscreen with F11, and manually unset fullscreen it comes back rightly...
I recently installed official packaged nvidia driver version 180, but this problem didn't appear immediatly.
