I've read description of bug 257349 and don't see any common except the fact that totem crashes. MJPEG/MPEG2 nor Youtube and BBC selectors inside the player. Everything is ok until it's time to play video. Playlists, Youtube and BBC search works.
In my case Totem doesn't play videos any more. Neither DiX/XviD/
