Pidgin Messenger can not send files to ICQ 6.5 clients

I'm using: Ubuntu 8.10 with gnome 2.24.1
 I have all actual updates installed

Problem with: pidgin 1:2.5.2-0ubuntu1

The problem is new to me. In past Pidgin works correct, but since ca two weeks file transfer from me to an ICQ 6.5 client fails. But i can recieve files normally! When i want to send my files, the file transfer window open normally, but i get a message that the other user blocked the transfer, after the other user confirms that he wants to recieve the file . The ICQ Client user get messsage that the transfer fails. Problem don't depend on file type.
