problem with firefox

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

whenever i open firefox (3.0.6 / canonical 1.0) ubuntu panel dissapears. i have to close firefox to do anything else.it started today

try to disable desktop effects if you have them enabled. (Preferences -> Appearance)
