Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

On a regular basis, when I open Rythmbox it took him a while to become aware of all the tracks available : Iam seeing the number of tracks going up and down before it stabilize to the right number. But by them, my librairie is reinitiated and all my play lists are empty. Having quite a lot of track (all legitimates), it is a very fustrating experience. In fact I was never able to sort all my tracks!!!

Thanks, Laurent

Hi,

I do not know how to reproduce the problem. It happened to me many time, but I was not able yet to identify a complete pattern. One thing struck me though: The disk my music is stored on is not automatically mounted when I restart the computer. I have to open it through the Shortcut menu, Removable device submenu. I then open the folder where the music is. Usually it's ok until I have to reboot. It seems to me that when I open Rythmbox to quickly after this launch process, the problem may appear. However, I was not able to reproduce the issue.

Regards,

Laurent

Yes, the issue seems to systematically occur under such conditions.
