Bug Description
On Intrepid Ibex, using a core2 Quad processor, and NVidea GPU w/ NVidea gfx drivers
I've been able to successfully crash Gnome, taking me back to the log-in screen, several dozen times by doing the following steps.
boot the computer
log in
system-
Rapidly choose different screen savers
This crashed Gnome every time on my core2quad & NVidea system
On subsequent log-ins, many applications behave strangely, such as not responding to the mouse, but responding to keyboard inputs. etcetera.
I know I haven't given much information, I don't know how to get the relevant information for the specific problem.
Could someone tell me what information to supply // how to supply it for when I return to my apartment?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
We have instructions on debugging for this types of problems at https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/DebuggingGN OME
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!
