Bug Description

I am using ubuntu 8.10. As of Feb 1, 2009, I just updated the latest updates on Jan 31, checkgmail program does not work any more. BTW, I updated on Jan 29, everything was still fine.

Here is the output from checkgmail in terminal

Warning: Gtk2::Sexy not found ...

CheckGmail uses Gtk2::Sexy for clickable URLs in mail messages
Please download and install from CPAN (http://search.cpan.org) if you want to use this feature ...

not well-formed (invalid token) at line 15, column 15, byte 431 at /usr/lib/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
Perl exited with active threads:
 1 running and unjoined
 0 finished and unjoined
 0 running and detached

It is the bug of checkgmail, not ubuntu : )
I will contact the checkgmail author.

I had problem with checkgmail, like this:

$ checkgmail

not well-formed (invalid token) at line 23, column 15, byte 697 at /usr/lib/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
Perl exited with active threads:
 1 running and unjoined
 0 finished and unjoined
 0 running and detached

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Release Candidate
