Bug Description

Binary package hint: ffmpeg

In Jaunty, as far as I can understand, gstreamer is still complaining and sigsegving about the use of unstripped packages as opposed to the vanilla ones.

This is problematic since the unstripped packages now seem to be the default.

the "-unstripped-" packages are not and will never be the default ones, btw.

If you install these packages, and then try to play a video in Totem, it crashes.

FWIW, movies play fine here in totem and other players while the unstripped packages are installed. Still a problem?
