Bug Description

I recently installed gnome-do in my Ubuntu 7.10 as said in Gnome-Do site.
It's version is 0.4.0.1.
And mine is a P4 pc with 512mb ram.
It worked nice, although I can't found it's preference menu as said in it's wiki.
Today I installed Ubuntu studio -look package along with it desktop-base, desktop-profile, gnome-core packages.
But after that when I pressed Super+Space Gnome-Do didn't launched.
So I logged out and logged in again. And again it never come alive ( I added it via session manager)
So I manually started from menu, no action.
Then I entered it in my terminal and I am attaching what I see in terminal.

here is a part from begining
======================================================================
(Do:15874): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_hash_table_lookup: assertion `hash_table != NULL' failed

(Do:15874): libgnomevfs-WARNING **: Internal error: the configuration system was not initialized. Did you call _gnome_vfs_configuration_init?

and from end
======================================================================

I really loved this launcher. So please inform me if you find a solution to this problem.
Please don't say me that I need to upgrade. I have a limited account.

waiting for replays,

Since I am not want to wait for a fix, I removed all those packages except Ubuntu-look (given in bug report).
And now Gnome-Do loads as it previously does.
But still I wan't to know what went wrong.

Thank you for your bug report. You're not using a package provided by Ubuntu, so I'm going to close the Ubuntu task for this. I will assign it to the Gnome Do project though

The only solution we can give you is to upgrade. The version you are
using is a year old.

The code path in questions has been removed from the codebase, so we cannot reasonably debug or issue a patch.
