i found the reason of this crash, for me it's cause from a too small partition /boot
then i try :
move /boot partition to / from livecd with cp -pr command and reconfigure fstab and grub or lilo

Hi jon,

Looking at your DpkgTerminalLog.txt file it seems you've ran out of disk space:

gzip: stdout: No space left on device

Changed in linux-restricted-modules (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

Yes thank you, I finally figured that out - I made very sure when I
reformatted my system that I left more than enough space...
