Anders, you would need to attach a backtrace and/or some steps to reproduce the bug. There's plenty of resources on the web how to file a bug report properly. No one else is experiencing this error, or maybe they do, but the description is too vague to recognize. Simply put, that error message is lying, the "support team" will not know anything more about the error than you do, if you tell them nothing more than that a 'an runtime error occurred'.

Hi!
Two questions.
Is there any other dc++ mailinglist where i can discuss dc++.
Secondly the message i get when dc++ stops never happend in previous
versions.
Please have pations with me.
I am not that good in doing bug reports.
Also the bug page is very kluttered for a screenreader user.

a screen reader? that might well be the reason behind the crash... try to un-check "Use extended menus with icons and titles" in Settings > Advanced and see if it helps. (in any case you don't need that option.)

so far you've only pasted us the standard Windows crash log, so more information is needed as to what you were doing and how to reproduce the crash.

there is a mailing list on <https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_name=dcplusplus-devel> but please keep discussion about this bug on this thread.

As to generic crash bugs, two things help: exact and reliable steps to reproduce or a backtrace using gdb (a developer tool) - if you're unable to provide either we can't help you

oh, and emtee, even though we compile with gcc we still use the ms vc runtime library (msvcrt.dll)

It was a rare and unsual networking or file transfer problem. Maybe it needs some special case to happen (so maybe some of your special Windows settings or problems triggered it) but this kind of errors should be handled and itsn't normal that they make DC++ crash. The commited fix is actually about better error handling of these situations.
If you experience unusual error messages or behaviour using the release build of DC++ I sent you, let us know them.
