Bug Description

Binary package hint: git-core

The git-core package is outdated. This causes problems will all Ruby on Rails developers using the Capistrano deployment tool. I am sure there are other issues, but this is the current issue for me.

I don’t think this is actually In Progress, but see bug 319096 for an updated package waiting for sponsorship.

This bug was fixed in the package git-core - 1:1.6.2.4-1ubuntu1

    - debian/control: Drop recently introduced cvsps build dependency;
