Application doesn't appear in programs menu

Binary package hint: pgdesigner

This is not really so much a bug but more feature request.

pgdesigner does not seem to have a pgdesigner.desktop file in /usr/share/applications

Something like this would work:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=pgDesigner
Exec=pgdesigner
Icon=pgdesigner
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=Application;Database;System;Development

also there doesn't seem to be xpm file for the icon.

Here is a debdiff file with changes after added desktop file and icon. It's too large because it adds the icon into the debdiff file.

Thank you for creating a patch for this bug. We currently sync pgdesigner from Debian. I would hate to be required to merge the package due to such a minor change. You have already submitted the patch upstream. Once the Debian Maintainer applies the patch, we can sync the package in order to get this patch in Ubuntu. In the meantime, I am marking the Ubuntu bug as Won't Fix and unsubscribing ubuntu-universe-sponsors.
