Bug Description
Binary package hint: samba
Changed samba share folder and it quit being visible to the network. I thought there was something wrong with samba so I uninstalled with the intentions of reinstalling it immediately however I get an error every time I try to do so. I am using Ubuntu 8.10

Did you completely remove or purge samba-common? Can you try running: sudo apt-get purge samba-common .
