Bug Description

Timo Jyrinki reports that:

A code repository is either non-existent or very hard to find,
and at least it's not linked to from Launchpad. I was finally
        pointed at http://people.ubuntu.com/~mvo/bzr/, which apparently
has the latest gnome-app-install and update-manager.
[...]
Also the gnome-app-install product page isn't seemingly linked
        with
        https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-app-install
in any way, which is more like a Launchpad issue. It's starting
to be hard to find stuff in Launchpad sometimes...

The gnome-app-install source package is properly linked with the
gnome-app-install main productseries, but Launchpad is not displaying
anything on the product or sourcepackage pages. From the product page,
you can actually click on the "Packages" link in the menu portlet
https://launchpad.net/products/gnome-app-install/+packages
and get a non-hyperlinked table pointing to the corresponding source
packages. This could probably benefit from being hyperlinked and made
more visible.

Maybe the product and and sourcepackage page should link to the
associated product and series or say something like "not associated to
any source package" and "not associated to any release series".

Oh, and the "source package" entry in productseries/+source is quite
confusing since it will update any number of existing relations or
create a new one, and will be always empty in the form even if the
series is already associated a source package.

Nevermind bug #31307 which prevents actually using that form entry for
many productseries.

From a duplicate by William Grant.

A page like https://edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox knows that it is linked to the Firefox project (it displays the description and logo), but does not link to it. It knows precisely which project it needs to link to, so adding a link should be trivial.
