Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we can't fix it because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).

And please open for every bug a new bug report!
Thanks!

Ok take 2> A 9 year old child was using my computer which is a Dell
Dimension E520.In non administrator mode she was watching music clips on
you tube and using the(firefox) video download helper in order to save them
to the hard drive. Everything was working fine at this stage. She finshed
doing what she was doing and turned the computer off. She then turned the
computer on and tried to watch you tube again but she could not watch it and
you tube said that the java scipt was disabled.I started up the computer in
administrator and tried to watch you tube but the java script or flash
player would not work for me.
Being a basic user I tried reinstall Java threw links that you tube provide
with no luck i tried the install java links threw the website mojoflix but
had no luck.
I then used the synaptic package manager to install and uninstall in the
following order >
Installed the following>
 Java-comman
javaheper
ia32-sun-java5-bin
sun-java5-jre
still no luck
installed Klash
sun-java-bin
no luck
removed gnash
Installed ubuntu-restricted-extras for reasons i cant remember (mongoose
syndrome)
removed ubuntu-restricted-extras
removed the following>
sun java 5-bin
sun java 5-jre
sun java 6-bin
sun java 6-jre
completely removed flash plugin non free
completely removed msttcorefots
completely removed gstreamer 0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
and gstreamer 0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
non of this solved my problem.
I also did terminal installation of java which did not work and the error
report was error port 8080
Their was also an error on msttcorefonts,
I apologise i cant remember the exacted order of the events,
I reserched the file msttcorefonts and thus decided to delete it which i
did using the terminal because the synaptic package manager could not
delete it.
The flash player or java scipt still does not work and it was working fine
beforehand.
I am also using compiz fusion and it was working fine and was installed
months before this problem occurred.
Thanks i hope this one helps...
