Bug Description
Ubuntu 8.10
When handling document with text in russian, lyx is unable to export it into any available format. Neither can it print that document. We get error message with error: "LaTeX error: File koi8-r.def not found." and description: " \endinput
^^M
*** (cannot \read from terminal in nonstop modes". The same problem occures with Windows-1251 encoding.
Valid for Lyx versions: 1.5.6-0ubuntu1 and backported version 1.6.1~1interpid1
texlive-latex: 2007.dfsg.1-2

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release or a newer version of LyX? Thanks in advance.
