Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
Have experienced this bug a multitude of times. Cannot identify a predecessing cause- seems to happen randomly. I see that others have reported this bug in association with various applications- which is what seems to be happening to me. I don't think it's reproducible in my case.

I should mention that most times the crash results in a complete system freeze, with complete inability to restart the GUI or use Magic Sys keys, i.e., requires hard reset. The last time I couldn't even do a hard reset- had to pull power.
