Gmail Chat window, message sending fail, type in Chinese

Gmail floating chat continuously failed sending my message when I typed in Chinese, funny thing is when I click either the icon on the floating window or the floating bar of the input method, it can be sent.

Have you checked your localisation setting to make sure you have the right language selected? Does Gmail have a separate setting for language that has been set wrong somehow? I think you're Ubuntu system has LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8
set. Is that the right language for your gmail too?
